Friends of Jewish Heritage in Poland is working to raise funds for the installation of boundary markers at the Jewish cemetery in Szczuczyn.

We also plan to install a new informational signboard there in 2025.

Without a tombstone remaining on site, the Szczuczyn Jewish cemetery remains a burial place of haunted memory.

All that remains is an open field with the pieces of a few gravestones scattered on the ground. It was located just slightly to the east of the Synagogue, in the northern part of town.

As descendants of Szczuczyn, we (Mike Marvins, Paul Walsky, and Leslie Wacht) are energized by last year's transfer of the Szczuczyn cemetery from government ownership to FODŻ (the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland). This transfer allows us the opportunity to begin the work of proper protection and restoration of this sacred space.

We have already received a major donation that will permit us to begin these efforts. Please help us advance further by giving what you can.
