Przasnysz (פּרושניץ)
Jewish Cemetery

"…from the 300-year-old cemetery, tombstones were plucked, the ground was plowed and used as a road".—Rabbi Szymon Huberband, writing from the Warsaw Ghetto, in an entry in the Ringelblum Archives.
The Jewish Cemetery of Przasnysz (פּרושניץ in Yiddish) was decimated during the war years and is in a state of advancing disrepair.  This final resting place dates back hundreds of years.  Working with FODŻ, Our volunteers seek to bring dignity to the souls buried in these sacred grounds and to memorialize the once thriving Jewish community of Przasnysz.

Much has been accomplished but much also remains to be done. With your financial support we will restore and maintain dignity at this Jewish cemetery in perpetuity.
